Just to be clear, here is the "stack trace" based on xmlSecError
using "filename:line-number(function)" to the assert I'm talking
about:

x509.c:1605(xmlSecOpenSSLKeyDataX509VerifyAndExtractKey)
x509.c:2404(xmlSecOpenSSLKeyDataRawX509CertBinRead)
keys.c:1190(xmlSecKeyReadBuffer)
keys.c:1247(xmlSecKeyReadBinaryFile)

So the assert in question is the

xmlSecAssert2(keyInfoCtx->keysMngr != NULL, -1);

on line 1605 of x509.c
