If it is helpful to you, I have attached the batch file and the modified Makefile.msvc I use to build on Windows with Visual Studio 2008 SP1.

Weird. I didn't compile on Windows though. Which version of Visual Studio do you use?

Do you mind giving more details about XMLSec compilation on Windows?

The Windows binaries<http://www.zlatkovic.com/projects/libxml/index.html> (http://www.zlatkovic.com/libxml.en.html) for XMLSec library proved not much useful when installed as there were dll registration issues and also I'm unable to compile the win32 binaries available within xmlsec source package using nmake.
So please can any one suggest a workaround for this.
