Aleksey,
We are having problems with libxml2 that are not related to xmlsec. Our xmlsec tests are working fine so far, but some of our core libxml2 usage is broken. I would like to know what the minimum version of libxml2 is that I can use and still get full xmlsec functionality.
Thanks,
-Tom

I am testing xmlsec against the latest versions of Libxml2. In my experience,
most of the reported problems with libxml2/xmlsec stability have been caused
by incorrect versions of libraries at compile vs run times. Usually, the solution is
to use 'ldd' and make sure you have correct LD_LIBRARY_PATH set.
BTW, make sure to also recompile libxslt if you are using it.

Hello,
What is the best version of libxml2 to use with xmlsec? We are using xmlsec1-1.2.16 with libxml2-2.7.8, but are having major runtime problems in our applications. If we use libxml2-2.6.22, then our applications run fine, but I know we need to use a newer version of libxml2 with xmlsec. I grabbed libxml2-2.7.8, but it has many runtime and build problems. Is there an older, more stable libxml2 I can use?
Thanks,
-Tom
