[xmlsec] Does this library works for streaming mode

Hi All,
  I am new to XML signature and encryption. I have one question about
this library. Can we use this library for streaming mode encrypted XML
document or we need whole document for using encrypted XML ? If it works
for streaming mode does this library create any DOM tree internally ?
