[xmlsec] Namespace problem

I am sorry for delay with response but I was on vacation last week
and I did not have good Internet access. In the example you gave,
I believe that xmlsec does the right thing by inserting the namespace
declaration into <SignedInfo> node. You can take a look at the
example 3.7 in C14N spec

which shows exactly the same behavior for <e1> node.
