I would be happy to have interop with Websphere too but
    1) WebSphere needs to follow the spec. XMLSec library will not
    "special case" other incorrect implementations.
    2) I don't have WebSphere to play with so I could do close to nothing.

I really would like to help you but I just don't know "how?". And my 
previous
expirience with such interop issues says that most likely it's something
stupid (like a script that dumps XML to a file and adds formating to it
thus breaking all the digests and signatures).
