Aleksey,

I have tried ..

xmlsec.exe --verify --id-attr=Id nocert.xml

And xmlsec fails
with
Usage: xmlsec <command> [<options>]
[<file>]

according to
--help-all
--id-attr[:<attr-name>]
[<node-namespace-uri>:]<node-name>

which seems to
contradict what you are telling me to type.

I am very confused ... i
am sure i have compiled the latest version correctly.

Sorry to keep
bothering you with this. I apologise for my lack of knowledge
regarding xml/xmlsecurity. Unfortunately the problem of verifying this
document was thrust on me due to my exposure to openssl and
mscrypto.

If you could just tell me what i should type based upon a
simple example - i would be eternally grateful. It would also be a very
useful addition to the FAQ.

Thanks
again,

Steve
